I have some of those sheets, too! My step mom cleaned out her closets a few years ago, and gave me all their bright flowered sheets and pillow cases. Some were ripped, and became bits of dresses for my daughters, bags, and doll clothing...
But the good ones I STILL use on the bed. They just breathe "summer."
