  1. Hi Jessica! I'm slready loving your blog, and I haven't made it past the first couple of items yet. Just wanted to say hello, and I look forward to reading your blog. OH! I almost forgot! The other day I made cookie bars from cherry chip cake mix. I used one box of cake mix, one egg and 1/2 c of margerine (or butter). I pressed the very lumpy dough into a 9 X 13 pan, and WOW! They were so good. They were in the oven for 10-15 minutes. I'm thinking how wonderful it would be to try with other flavor cake mixes. I'mconsidering using a tablespoon of mayo next time I make them. In any case, they were absolutely wonderful the way I made them. Chewey and oh so yummy. They disappeared very quickly. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Oooh, cherry chip cake? That sounds deee-lightful! Thank you for your super sweet words and hello. I am curious about the mayo, does it add more moisture and a softer texture? Intriguing. I am hoping to do some cake mix baking today! Happy weekend to you as well!

Hello, my name is Meg. I found your Dilly Doily Bags when searching for free patterns for market bags. I wanted to ask your permission to use your pattern to sell these bags. The ladies at my church are making market bags to sell so that we can support the Lizotte family in Alberta, Canada, who are fostering native children who have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse. Many of these children are also dealing with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. The Lizottes are taking in as many as they can house and afford. We want to help them with the costs. We will be sending every cent that we get for our bags to the Lizottes. NO MONEY will come to us or our church. We will be glad to give you credit for the design however you desire. If you will give us permission or if you have any questions, please email me at megcwheeler@hotmail.com. Thank you very much.
