We spent three days in L.A. and it has been almost a year since our last visit, and before that...sometime in 2019, methinks. It's always a little tricky doing an L.A. visit, there is simply not enough time to see all the peoples and eat all the things. This time, we spent more of our time with our host and had one meal each day with a few favorite peoples.
First stop, even though we were meeting friends for lunch, was..um...lunch. We hadn't had a bite since 6:30 or so and around noon we, and the sister a-go-go, were quite famished, and so off the The Hat for my very first time where we spied the dapperest of dandies, and the slipperiest toddler, with the most patient of dads.
We still had an hour or so before our meet up, so we dropped the sister a-go-go pff at our host's home, and situated ourselves and pet the cat of course, until it was time to meet up at Millie's where we discussed wonderfully bad 80's films, vegan eats and recipes, and the general catching up you do when you see people for the first time in far too long. Hooray!
