i might be mia for awhile

the laptop is in a sad, sad state and we may have lost all of our photos as well. if the ever powerful mac geniuses can rescue it i'll be back online otherwise i'll see ya sometime in august!

we camped a lot

and i inhaled way more pollen than my lungs would have liked. now i am a hacky-wheezy girl right now. we've been citifying it so i can attempt to recover. here are a few pics from camp a-go-go to tide ya over as i work fast and furiously to upload way too many photos in too short a time. happy june!

a meeting with the button king

this is only a short post, there will be more to read when we get to writing for a-go-gos but for now i just wanted to add a shot and tell you how awesome it was to have met Dayton Stevens, the Button King. he is a southern gentleman with a wicked sense of humor and mean pickin' skills (banjo, geetar, mandolin , you name it)! he gave us a tour of his museum, played many instruments. sang and then escorted us through Bishopville so we could check out the awesome Sculptural Topiary of Pearl Fryar. i am so so so so happy we made time to meet The Button King!

hullo there, just checking in to say we're still on the road. currently we're in Georgia but we'll be quickly moving through the east coast in the next few weeks. meeting all my internet friends has been incredibly delightful, jumping with them is even better...
