naturally loopy

I'm no longer loopy via meds though I am still hopped up on mild painkillers. The darn tooth that needed work showed me no signs of needing work. It waited to reveal itself through an x-ray. Traitor! I have TMJ and all sorts of fun problems and that wonky wonky tooth was in the very back of my itty bitty mouth so the endo guy who needled me up with Novocain had to practically climb inside to get the job done. Now of course I am bruised and sore and puffy faced and sore and did I mention that my jaw and tooth and nose all hurt? Sheesh! What a pain. I've been living off of pudding, smoothies and ice cream sandwiches. Poor me. So, even if I'm not on the crazy drugs, I'm still loopy enough that I can't seem to pay attention to getting anything done and there is a whole lot that needs to get done so I am apologizing now as my brain hurts and my tooth is throbbing and I need to take a quick couch nap before I dazzle a soon-to-be birthday girl with a day trip of pastries (that I don't think I can eat) and thrift shopping. loopy is as loopy does

and loopy needs to take another nap. i survived a root canal this morning. mind you, i wasn't afraid of the ear shatterring zzzzzz if the tiny drills and saws, no, i was afraid that my secert super power aka lock jaw would make an appearance as she usually does, danmn show off. this time, my kind new dentit graced me with a magic pill that would help keep the jaw locker at bay. for the most part, the magic pills worked. still working a wee bit as evidenced by my mD TYPNG SKILLS. which i iwlkl jeep up for prosperity or until i have ebough energy to fix this post. Anywhoo, the pills had some quiet time in the depths of the belly while my mouth got prodded and poked and doible poked with GINORMOUS needles and gloved fingers and other invasive sacriness. I lay there on the couch thinie with my eyes closed lightly so show that i was not scared. the mister allowed me the use of his ipod shuffle and i had my teeth drilled to the soothing voices of Cat Stevens, Neko Case, Paul Simon, Sondre Lerche and Jenny Lewis...with some Stephin Merrit thrown in to make it seem more like a party.

The directions on the pill bottle are not simply for show, so thank you mr. a-go-go for kindly driving me all about. I got home around 10am and fell into the freshly made up October bed and I awoke moments ago after 2:30 and can feel the lure to revisit. Why not?; I can't eat anything, I cant type very well andmy attention span is that of a young vollege boy who had had one jaigermeister too mAny. Back to funny dreamland for me and I'll return with the editing half of myself (she's dancing on the ved with a lampshade round her head)to clean upo this mess i have typed typed typed here. i can;t see very well withet. soooo blurry. i lofve you =aLLLL. really, i do. Oooh waitdid you see the october bed yet?

the week in review: sept 29-oct 5

It was as weekish as a week could get. Crafting, arting, writing, school work, hiding from the heat and some super-early-in-the-morning cooking and baking. I like breakfast foods no matter the hour.

This week is more of the same what with Felt Club coming up. I've got a lot to do and I guess I should let you know I gotta work fast as Mr. A-go-go and I will be in Portland the week before Felt Club. I'm thinking of having an "open" breakfast when we're out there so I can meet up with internet pals. I would love to meet y'all but only if you want. Oh this weather!

It has been so super duper hot here. I picked up some macarons, finally, and managed to cart them around with me in relatively cool surroundings until I took them out of the fridge for picture time. They melted within minutes but they were oh sooooo tasty!
