shop update: red, white, blue, and pretty

 

 

 

My festive independence day inspired dilly packs are in the shop. There are two styles listed. One with a more muted palette (think pale pink, dusty red, and aqua), the other classic red, white, and blue. Not a fan of red, white, and blue? There is also a silver and gold pack full of vintage goodness, and a delightful pack packed with blue.

I put together these pretty silver and gold ephemera packs last year and so enjoyed their whimsy I added a few more to shop scrumdillydilly. They are full of vintage handmade whimsy and sparkle. Don't ya think?

Took far too many photos today but at least they are pretty and make me smile. There is a kitty on my lap and I am drinking some leftover coffee with cocoa in it. That may be more information than you care to know. The nephew a-go-go is still on spring break so today involved a lazy recovery from the weekend. We watched Doctor Who,  sampled micro-greens, discussed Godzilla and learned the definitions of conglomerate and paradox. Have you ever tried explaining the meaning of paradox to an eight year old? To anyone? Go ahead, I kinda dare you (though I won't double-dog dare you). Oh and just to prove to you how extraordinarely dorky I am, we a-go-gos are quite excited for the return of Peg. And....she has brought a boyfriend home. We call him Gomez. Here's a sneak peek for the shoppity shop...

shop update: vintage linen love bunnies

 

happy bunny blanks for you to enjoy as is or for your kiddos to paint up as they will. each bunny front is made from a neutral faux linen, muslin or denim and backed by a happy bit of vintage bed linens. they're in the shop now! hurry, Easter is just around the corner!

mr. a-go-go has been making music...and instruments. he hand carves the necks from recycled wood and then spends a fair amount of time burning off the necks of wine bottles and such. we're now known as that weird couple who keeps asking for our neighbor's trash. either way, these two-stringed instruments are awesome and can be yours! we've got one in the shop and if you're local to los angeles, check out Reform School in Silverlake.

you spell it bandolier, i spell it bandoleer...either way it is a-go-go. lookie here, it's a sash, it's a purse! it's a hands free fashion statement that holds everything you need! there are two left in the shop, check them out now!

**the witch-baby is a sleepy kitty. she has a spot and stays warm and we're keeping many eyes on her. she isn't really eating or drinking and the bet wants for us to take her in for hydration. we're torn. the traveling to the vet is traumatic for her. it hurts her to pick her up and while we want her to be hydrated we don't know if it is better or worse. it may be better in the moment and it keeps her from dehydration but is it going to traumatize her and make her linger longer and in more discomfort? we have no idea how much pain she is in. as to what is going on, we're not sure and invasive tests would maybe give a diagnosis but we still wouldn't be able to fix her. still, my heart, all of our hearts, ache.

bunnies in the shop

i know i'm cutting it close but i have six bunnies hoping for new homes! if you wish to adopt, these will be mailed on Tuesday, March 30...i promise! as long as yer in the continenntal U.S. you should get them in time for Easter! sorry, there are no more cocoa bunnies but these are just as sweet!

they're back and in the shop! i am loving wearing this as a belt. the colors are so funky and of course, that scissors print is something to swoon over!
