Icky days and wishlists

I had a blech of a day yesterday so I amused myself with a birthday wish list. This is more of reminder to myself of things that have caught my eye recently and things I would like to own but of course how could I refuse if one arrived on my doorstep? Yesterday put me way way way behind on many things so I must be off and pretend to be productive! Aack! Lookie what I got from a coloriffic swap, isn't it beyooteefull? It came all the way from Greece and was made for me by nikkistyl.The inspiration shot is on the left and the art piece is on the right. She made me three different prints. I LURVE them!

Howl

Yesterday I strolled down our walkway, out the gate, down the steps to the sidewalk. The car was parked just a smidge to my right and I stepped out into the street and right in front of a coyote. A large coyote. A large coyote that had to cross two very busy streets to get to mine where he or she continued on in a purposeful way towards Hollywood Blvd.

It made me very sad to see this. Who are we to build, build, build such large and ugly homes on top of hills that become compromised so that said ugly homes slide down those hills pushing mud, debris and apparently coyotes out of the way?

The Week in Review: Janaury 21-28

I know I thought last week was busy but this week was even busier and with inclement weather. Phew! I was busy all week long and in pretty much a razzled, frazzled state. My brain was fine if not forgetful and yesterday was super productive if not a little bit sucky. The suckiness of the day was relieved by a phone chat with my much loved Bunny. Thanks m'dear! sooo good to hear yer voice! The good parts are all about the mail, the craftiness and the Valentines! Yay! I'm sorry I didn't get back to my sister. I was in THE ZONE of my wee production line and needed to finish. I totally owe you a phone call, Sis, hopefully tomorrow after my dentist appointment. Today is deadline day and school...I'm gonna finish my tea and be off!

Can you believe it is not even 9am and I've already been out of the house for a 90 minute Yoga session? I love my workout buddy. *MWAH!

Squeezing in at the last second...

I spent the weekend printing up Valentine Cards for the shop. Flat and folded cards will be available on Tuesday and I promise I will ship all orders out on February 1st so you should have enough time to get some fungus out to your sweetie(s). I printed them in pink, red, brown and two shades of green. Wheee! I'm still not sure how I'm going to sell them...how many in a set, what colors, etc. Any suggestions? Here's a sneak:

Photobooth Friday: Fits & Giggles

This is the best kind of remembering. It was only a month or so ago but the day was filled with all kinds of ooey goodness. We walked, we talked, we boothed, we wore fake mustaches, we posed in forbidden sculptures, we were patrons of the arts and we made some healthy choices. We also laughed. A bunch. To new friends! *mwah*

Poof! Like magic...how's about a happy picture instead? I'm still missing oodles of scissors but the scissor fairy dropped by early yesterday morning and fixed me up. I love me some fairy goodness! Thank you my friend! I'm off now to sew, stitch, create, wrap & package all sorts of stuff. Oh wait...I am so behind on photobooth friday...hmm...check back later today for a strip!
