How cool is this? One of my parents did a surprise porch delivery of pastry and coffee. Swoon! I make a pretty decent cup of coffee at home, but Scout? Scout lattes are my favorite. I would have taken a picture of the scone she delivered, but um, that one didn't last quite as long. In all transparency, I have to admit, this photo is of an empty cup. I drank it all up immediately so, yeah. Not everything you see on the internet is totally true. Ahem.
Box cake cupcakes. There is a batch of homemade sour cream frosting in the fridge and we have been adding a swoosh of frosting as we go. I'm low on flour and the mister won't be hitting up the market for another few days. I hope you are all able to find what you need and make do with what you have. I have expired cake mix. So there ya go.
Poly really wants to be outside but we don't let her out until 10am. She is a howler and is especially bereft when the mister goes outside. She is also unsure about my slippers here and has attacked me more than once today. Speaking of today, I had a panic fit over well, everything. My track record for health is not really good and I'm worried about this pandemic. I spent an hour watching videos on treatments for people with cystic fibrosis. Breathing and coughing techniques to clear the lungs. Everyone keeps asking me if I think I had covid when I was sick this winter and part of me wonders the same thing. I was awfully sick. Sicker than I have ever been and it was not the flu. The doctors all ordered tests, so much blood was taken. I was freaking out. I was told it was most probably pneumonia, but they always said it with a question mark at the end. I did have fluid in my lung,s and there is scarring as well. I took three different antibiotics and a super round of prednisone and while I am breathing better and not afraid I'm going to die in the middle of the night anymore, I am tired all the time. Pneumonia can do that to you though. So who knows? Stay safe. Wash your hands. Take deep breaths.
