We arrived to a newly landscaped fountain and not another soul about. If you follow along you might remember last year the fountain was closed. It was overcast but not raining and I eyed the height of the fountain edge and felt old and out of shape. But then the mister pulled me up to the ledge, we clasped hands and flew! While I did manage to not do that weird spider-man thing I usually do, I totally forgot to think about my face. GAH! Oh well...both the mister and I were feeling under the weather and silly poofy face or not I adore that guy and the jump must go on! Many many mwahs, hugs, and kisses to my bestest who pushed the shutter button for us. I adore you!

 Happy Read Across America Day! When the mister and I were planning our shindig, we delighted in the coincidence that our first date was on Dr. Seuss' birthday. When it came time to pick a date for the shindig, it was a no brainer. We got hitched on our second anniversary and will be tied to Dr. Seuss each year. This year being no exception, we drove on down to Los Angeles to visit with friends and revisited the fountain. We also stopped off and made a deal for new wheels and now we're going to plan a road trip! Happy Anniversary!

dreamy

when mr. a-go-go & i were in death valley, we happened across a smattering of sand duney dreaminess. it was just before sunset and the temperatures was almost perfect. i donned a dreamy four dollar skirt and jump up and down and all over town from one sand dune to the next. the mister took picture after picture after picture of me almost according to my direction. this one here, this one is one of my favorites. one of many yes, but isn't this just dreamy?

happy almost february! stay tuned for a lot of pink and love and hugs and sweets. there may even be a give away or two but only if i can get them wrapped up and in an envelope before i even shout it out. i want to be able to mail everything in a timely manner...ahem.

It is the day before my birthday and I am still sick. Sicker even than yesterday. I am sick and whiney and headachey and there is a crew outside chainsawing away. The tree trimmers are here and have been since 8am. Even with all the windows sealed it is a racket! The noise is giving Witch-baby the heebie jeebies and she is tearing around the house with racoon tail-itus. Poor kitty. I am on my 4th cup of tea and I am already tired of peeing. Sigh. I'm not that bothered about being sick on my birthday because we had no plans but if I am sick I can't visit with granny and whether or not I'm sick I HAVE to go to school Monday from noon-9:30pm otherwise I will be dropped from my classes! Such great timing, no? At least I am sick this week and not next. Next week is our 2nd anniversary and last year I was sick on our anniversary which is also Read Acros America Day. Hopefully it won't rain and Mr.a-go-go & I can do our annual jump off the fountain. What should I wear?
