I love the tie bunting, a good use for all those abandoned ties you see in charity (thrift) shops. I've seen a nice idea for making ties into coin purses too. You just cut them down and fold into a little envelope shape, using the pointy end as the flap, adding a little button or loop fastening. Some of the older ties are made of really handsome material.
