but first...donuts

We woke up to rain, of course we did. While everyone else was still in pajamas (except for mr. a-go-go, he is never in pajamas) Stacey and I headed out for donuts, Hollywood-style. Hello Trejo's! Trejo's makes one donut with an assortment of toppings and icings. We picked up waaaaay too many and a bevy of iced horchata lattes and brought them back home to be devoured. The plan is to be lazy and head out for jumping sometime after lunch....as long as the rain stops...

driving down to l.a.

It's our...what is it...thirteenth wedding anniversary! Fifteen years together! Time for an L.A. jump, but first we need to get there...driving down with the prospect of rain always keeps us on our toes. We drove by the burn area from the Thomas Fire in Ventura...it was devestating...but then we got to the valley, as it began to pour just in time for a brunch date with a-renee then we were off to our favorite family's for hugs and deener...
